How to schedule an appointment

  • Schedule an appointment here: 
  • Or go to Navigate:
  • You will be redirected to another page where you will enter your NetID and password.
  • Click the “Get Assistance” button.
  • Select “Academic Advising.
  • Under service, select “Advising outside of your major.
  • Select any date and click “Find Available Time.
  • On the next screen, select “Pre-Health” as the office location.
  • Appointments are available virtually via Zoom or in-person in the Johnson Center, 2nd floor, room 228 (Undergraduate Education suite). Please indicate how you prefer to meet when you sign up for an appointment. 
  • Please include your pre-health interest and specific questions in the comments section box when submitting your request.
  • Select the time that works best for your schedule and “Confirm Appointment.

Late appointment policy

Students who are anticipate being 15 minutes late or more for an appointment should login, cancel, and reschedule through Navigate. Failure to cancel in advance or not showing for 2 scheduled appointments within 14 days will result in you being temporarily blocked from using the student scheduling system. No same day advising appointments for cancelled appointments.

Appointment FAQs

Appointments are available virtually via Zoom or in-person in the Johnson Center, 2nd floor, room 228 (Undergraduate Education suite). When you sign up for an appointment in Navigate, you’ll be able to indicate whether you prefer a virtual or in-person appointment. Please note that all appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays will be held virtually. Appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays are available as either virtual or in-person. 

If you choose to sign up for a virtual appointment, you’ll be emailed (within 48 business hours) with more instructions and the Zoom link. Emails are sent to Mason email addresses. Be sure to check your spam/junk folders. If you don’t receive a Zoom link by the day of your appointment, please email Zoom allows you to connect via video or audio chat using a phone, computer, or tablet.

Any current Mason student or Mason alum.

Please note that alums are unable to login to Navigate and should contact to set up an appointment. In your email, please include your name, G#, availability for an appointment (multiple days/times when you’re free), and a note that you’re an alum seeking an advising appointment.

Prospective students or newly admitted students are welcome to email with questions but advising appointments are limited to current students and alums.

Appointments are available throughout the week, year round.

If you would prefer a phone appointment, please note that in the comment box. You’ll receive a Zoom link that will include a phone number that you can call into with your phone to join the Zoom session.
