About this website

This website is dedicated to support students and alumni interested in careers in the health professions (such as medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry, pharmacy, and veterinary). The information on this website is intended to provide general guidance and provides a foundation for subsequent appointments and meetings with the Health Professions Advisor.

Interested students and parents who are considering coursework towards a health professional career (who should first read this article) are welcome to email any questions.

Freshmen, sophomores, new transfer students, and those interested in the allied health professions should talk with our advisors in the Academic Advising Center or their major advisors in their departments. Nursing and health management students should consult advisors in the College of Health & Human Services about their programs.

This service is part of Student Academic Affairs and Advising and is open to all Mason community members interested in pursuing a graduate degree in the health professions.
